Throughout the entire time I was designing, making and refining this first collection of Rixon Frost jewellery a version of this necklace existed. In fact I think it might well be our first signature piece - encapsulating so much of what we stand for in terms of excessive design. 

I wanted to create a necklace that took up a fair amount of real estate and could be worn in lots of different ways. Sometimes you buy a chunky statement necklace and realise it only works with a certain type of top, or you have to find a way to extend the chain if you wear something bulkier. 

I think the biggest achievement of this necklace - after it's stunning originality - is that it looks incredible in an open neckline for a night out, and plays equally well between the two points of the collar on a shirt. It does it all frankly! this is because as with all Rixon Frost necklaces, there are loops at multiple intervals on the extender chain which mean you can vary the height so it sits right on just about any outfit. 

And truly this is an own forever piece. We hand make our pieces in 100% recycled silver so that we aren't extracting new silver from the earth, so that the necklace is strong and substantial, and so that if and when the time comes for a spruce up, it can be re-polished and re-plated like new.
