Circulating Rectangle Connected Brooches

• 100% recycled sterling silver with 18ct gold vermeil set of brooches connected by a pair of chains.
• Each brooch measures W2cm x H4.5cm.
• Handmade.

The first thing to ask yourself about this/these is whether you consider them a 'this' or a 'these'? Is it one piece or two? Or is it a whole load of pieces given the incredible versatility?

In fact this/these brooches kind of came before the entire collection when, on a whim, I made a set of connected brooches in a whole other genre. That original set won a prize!!! And they made someone chase me down at the Alexander McQueen exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum to ask where they could get them from. Which was nice!

While that first set is special, this set is special-er, because this set is waaaay more multi-way-wearable. Wear them across your lapels, or each side of a jacket. Go asymmetric and/or up and down on a shirt, or long and low pinned to a collar. You can even pin to cinch the waste at the back of a top or jacket or add them to the front, side or back of your pants. Honestly they go anywhere!
